Tyler has shifted position, but he’s still staring out the window. I didn’t even make the words come out and immediately I feel a rush of nerves. xnx “Trying to live down that airhead, blondie?” somebody calls. I can see he’s very tense and upset. I feel bad. They’d seen me talking to him at the bus stop and in the hall sometimes. I’ve been involuntarily walking towards the exit and I can’t stop. There stood Alicia and Candy, waiting for me. I raise my arm and swing around, slamming my fist into Candy’s face. “Don’t be shy, we all have the same story, don’t we?” he looks up around the group and everybody agrees with him. I stay in the hall on my own, hoping to be left alone.
