I sit down next to her on the breakfast nook, and started shoveling my food down like a caveman. “I told you, stupid, I was lonely!” she stomps on the doorstep, playfully, “Well, tough guy, can I come in?”
“Sure, just take your damn shoes off!”
I let her in, and she takes her shoes off by the door when I made my way to the kitchen. I put my forearm on the back of her neck and wormed my way up to her, and then I turned her over. The bowl was close to my face, and all I saw was the level of rice going down.
