It was early morning now and she told me she probably needed to go home. I replied back that I did too. Xxnx Pausing she said, “Why don’t you go to a movie or out to a bar.”
I told her, “That’s no fun, going out by myself.”
She said, Yea,“ and then said, “I’d go get drinks with you.”
Pausing I said, “That would be great.”
She hesitantly replied, “Sure, but I work until 7:30 or so.”
She became evidently a little nervous with the thought of going out with someone so much older than she was, and so in an attempt to calm her a little, I said, “If something comes up, let me know.”
