Candy ran her hand down his forearm. xnx It was dinner time. Gloria’s smile said she knew she’d scared him. His balls rolled in their sack, then drew up, tight and ready to shoot, but he demanded they wait. The thick, purple knob snapped in and out of his fist. “What,” he said. “Evan,” she said, “do you really think I have talent?”
“You bet,” he said. At the bottom of the stair, he opened the door carefully, so he wouldn’t hit anybody walking past. “Is that it over there.”
“Yes,” Candy said, and followed the boy over to her desk in the far corner of the room.
